CONCINNITY 13/KAPPA KON WAS A SUCCESS! (CONCINNITY 13 / KAPPA KON)
This year's event was an amazing success! This was the most successful Concinnity convention yet, and we had a total attendance of 538 people (beating our previous Concinnity II record (from 2002) of 329 people). Great job everyone. We've gotten great feedback, and it seems that you want us to do it again. Watch this space for information on Concinnity 14! :)

ABOUT THE CONVENTION (CONCINNITY 13 / KAPPA KON)
CONCINNITY 13 / KAPPA KON is a science-fiction and gaming convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA). The first convention was held in 2001. The event has been held annually since its first year.
This year's con is scheduled for Saturday, 13 April 2013 @ 10am to 11pm at the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Cudahy Student Center (3rd Floor - 1025 North Broadway - Downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA)).
The convention is primarily sponsored by MAGE - MSOE's science-fiction, gaming, anime' and chess club. The 2013 event is also being co-sponsored by Kappa Kon, the Milwaukee Steampunk Society, the Milwaukee Time Lords, Milwaukee Makerspace and MIAD's "That Anime' Club".

Thanks to our Con staff member John Levalie, we now have a website that updates the events going on at the convention in real time.
People with smartphones can scan the QR code to the left, or fans of the con can go to http://epguides.com/concinnity/ to look at a schedule of what is going on at the con. As events end, they drop off they list, so you can see everything that's going on as it happens! |

A new fully updated events list, now including gaming, has been posted on the website under the "EVENTS" tab. Other events may still be added! Sadly we lost the Milwaukee Lolita Society fashion show for lack of volunteers, but we gained panels on Star Wars, Star Trek, and a during the day Magic-The Gathering draft tournament. Tons of stuff happening!

The Cue entertainment section of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel carried an article on our convention in the paper today (Monday, 08 April 2013). We are excited that Milwaukee's main newspaper chose our event as one of the exciting events happening this week in the city! Hope to see you all at the con!

Thanks to Tony Costa of the Game Store, our convention currently has an ad that is airing on 102.1 FM (WLUM) in Milwaukee. Listen to the station to hear the add, and better than that come and enjoy the convention and then check out the Game Store (3875 S 92nd St. - www.thegamestore.org ) for other great deals all year long!

We've updated our list of Convention policies just to be sure that everyone is on the same page with a great experience at our convention. No shockers or surprises in our rules, just a desire to make sure that everyone is safe and sound at our event!

To make things easier for our attendees to find our awesome event, we have added a tab on our page to give people the address, direction and parking information for the convention.

COMBINING WITH KAPPA KON (Updated 08 February 2013 - CONCINNITY 13 / KAPPA KON)

We are proud to announce that for Concinnity 13 we are combining with KAPPA KON, an Anime convention that is usually held in South Milwaukee. By combining for this year's events, we are able to ensure more programs for both conventions and will avoiding competing against one another. This is a great opportunity for both conventions and we are excited to be working together.
