Costume Contest Category Descriptions
Advanced
The advanced category is for single and group walk-ons who have previously competed in a Cosplay or Costume contest and have received a prize or an award. Any costumes in this category must be 80% handmade or more by the person or group competing. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes and awards for this category.
Beginner
The beginner category is for single and group walk-ons who have never competed in a Cosplay or Costume contest before or have never won an award prize from competing. Any costumes in this category must be 60% handmade or more by the person or group competing. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes and awards for this category.
Exhibit
The exhibit category is for single and group walk-ons who want to show off their bought or commissioned cosplays and costumes. There will be small prizes and awards given to this category.
**Judges have the right to re-categorizes**
Registration links for each category will be posted soon! Participants in the costume contest must be registered for the convention in order to compete.
